Who can use Velita

You must be at least 13 years old. You're responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in methods secure.

Your content

You own what you add (birthdays, notes, your page, wishlist). You give us permission to store and display it only as needed to run the service, for example showing your public page to visitors you allow.

Only add other people's information you have a reasonable right to keep, and don't post anything illegal, hateful, or that invades someone's privacy.

Google import

Connect Google is optional and read-only. We read your contacts and yearly birthday calendar events only to build an import preview, and save only the rows you choose. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Reminders

We try hard to deliver every reminder on time, but email, text and calendar delivery depend on other services and can fail. Don't rely on Velita for anything critical. Text reminders are limited to 2 per birthday and 20 per month per person.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no spam, scraping, attempts to access other people's data, or overloading the app.

Ending your account

You can delete your account any time in Settings. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

No warranty

Velita is provided as is, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as a missed birthday.

Changes

We may update these terms. If changes are significant we'll let you know in the app. Continuing to use Velita means you accept the updated terms.
